Same here, I've been using Gmail since day one, all my bluebyte email is through gmail. I've started using Live Mesh which is great for syncing my documents and all my pictures are on Picasa.

The company I work for Comtek (www.comtek.co.nz) are trying to push hosted servers but had no takers yet. Really I wrote this document to explain to people why they would go for a server, my boss said they are the same reason's for going for a hosted server.

Just read it and think hosted not server...

I've been mostly in the cloud for a couple of years now. Had a couple of outages but pretty rare and now Google Gears is sorting gmail, calendar and docs offline it's becoming even more feasible. Lot cheaper than having your own server and maintaining it too.

New Zealand hasn't got the infrastructure to handle people working in the cloud, I spent yesterday sorting out a client with a dial up modem because Telecom (Biggest provider of internet in NZ) had problems all day.
